Maybe Darlene actually liked the band. I remember David wanted to go to a Metallica concert in the show he was on before he was on Rosanne....but maybe that was just marketing.

Yeah maybe, I love it when shows reference my favorite bands, like the riot grrrl episode they mention Red Aunts, L7, Babes in Toyland, and Bikini Kill, and they even play a Bikini Kill song, and I remember seeing that when I was like 6 and loving it but wondering what it was, and that was always that one episode I carried in the back of my head, and when I found out about riot grrrl, I decided to look it up to see if that was what they were talking about, and it was. And I love the baggy ripped up jeans they had Darlene and David wear, and I think they had flannel too.

Ha, that's cool though. I hate people caring how they look, but I love the laid-back vibe of long hair, flannel shirts, general loose clothing, and ripped up jeans etc. It's just too down to earth to not love.

Ha, I always kind of wanted to make a fictitious band too. Or maybe do that Mark Arm Steve Turner thing and make flyers for a non existent band and put them all over saying they are playing somewhere.

I don't know if this is a fictitious band or not, they might have made it just for the movie, but another one from The Brady Bunch Movie is Mudd Pagoda with these two wickedly awesome songs.
