Which album is your favorite. I have to say BSSM because, well, it's the only one I known XD

Californication all the way, so much memories.
I come from a country of northern lights, lightless days and nightless nights.
I'm not gonna sit around and waste my precious divine energy trying to explain and be ashamed of things you think are wrong with me.

BSSM. It just sounds good. Was produced by Rick Rubin, everything he has ever produced I like!

BSSM freaking rocks. It perfectly blends the styles of fink and hard rock better than every album before and after.

I also really like OHM. It's a real departure from the regular RHCP, but it does it well. I don't understand why so many people hate it so much...

If there's any RHCP fans here that haven't check out the Funky Monks documentary (making of BSSM) they I definitely recommend checking it out as it's one of the best making of's in my opinion...

They guy that you see fleetingly with the black leather jacket and ponytail is Brendan O'Brien. Hence the amazing drum sound on BSSM.
Debut album out now, listen to the whole thing on Soundcloud here ...

It won't let me vote, but I will go ahead and say my favorite is the self titled. 8D

My favorite RHCP albums are, Stadium Arcadium and By the way.
However, I also like their DVD album on slane castle, the best live performance of a band.

"Californication" and "Blood Sugar Sex Majik" stand toe-to-toe for me - my take on it is that "Cali" has the strongest-written melodies, but "BSSM" has the best and most engaging hooks.
Among competing hypotheses, the one with the fewest assumptions should be selected.
