I can't seriously be bothered and watch a "Ville Valo voice range" clip, can I? I remember his voice as being very DEEP but can't remember anything about his higher range. Does he ever get there except when cheating (i.e. going falsetto)?

There might be something that interest you too, go and check out.

And I'm going to always love Ville, no matter who says and what. He was my teenage love after all..

And yes, Ville was mostly aimed at Santeri, cause everyone else in this planet act like he's the worst singer on this planet. I know HIM is lame, but there are million worse bands out there.

I love his scream in "Tourette's" and "Scentless Apprentice"! "In Utero" really showed off his scream and how strong it was, imo.

I know I have said this before but Cobain screaming is just perfection to me. :)

Oh, the guilt. To sustain screaming the word guilt like he does in that song and repeat doing that up to four times is not easy.

In Big Cheese, where he screams, there used to be a version floating around a few years ago where the scream lasted about 10 seconds. I have it on a tape, but I don't know how to upload it from tape to computer. Essentially hear that scream, let it get about 3x as loud, and fluctuate up and down a couple of times. It was awesome.

My personal fav would have to be Love Buzz. Nice bass riffs there, barely distorted screams, a pretty familiar yet unique intro.
