What's the difference between alt rock and rock anyways? Cause everything I ever like is considered alt and I don't even know what's supposed to be non alt.

I was -3. Never bought it, just copied it from piratebay. I don't remember when was the first time I've heard Nirvana. But the first time I've had them on my iPod was when I was 15.

I was born in 1977, so 12 - and 14 when I was properly able to appreciate it. up to that point, I was (and it shames me to say it) into mainstream dance music. I hadn't even considered anything else... I was pretty close-minded. moving from one side of the UK to the other meant making new friends & absorbing new influences.

then a random mate lent me the album on tape. I swear it never left my walkman for three weeks. and this week I've been listening to the album again in work, and it hasn't dated at all. mind blowing really.
