Hey Guys,

I'm interviewing Mark Yarm this upcoming Saturday (3/10) on my radio show, OVERCAST HYPE. Yarm is the author of best selling book, Everybody Loves Our Town and it'd be totally sick if you guys could tune in on Saturday and listen to the interview! You can check out the show at http://radio.depaul.edu on Saturday afternoon from 3-5PM (Central US Time), and if you miss it - the interview will be archived and uploaded on my own personal website http://rockethype.net !!

Definitely try to check it out if you can, and if you're unfamiliar with OVERCAST HYPE, it's a grunge radio show that I host all about grunge, Seattle, lost 90's music and generation X nostalgia. Check it out!

- ROCKET

+1000000 respect

I totally dig what you're doing and the website in general, athough some of the links and photos didn't load on your site. I'll try and tune in if I can though it will be about 10 pm my time and I should be at a gig by then :) hope it goes smoothly!!

Do you mind if I promote the page on my "Grunge en España" site?

-Eddie

Hey Eddie - try viewing the website in Chrome; other browsers work okay with my format and images but I really coded it for Chrome. Thanks for the respect! I totally don't mind if you put up a link..I'd like to add an affiliates page sometime so definitely PM me about that if you're interested. I'll also be recording the interview and putting it up for download on the site, so if you don't have a chance to tune in - you'll still be able to catch it. xD

I picked up this book, and it's bringing back SO many memories... I remember a friends band on the same bill with 'Alice N' Chains when they were more metal/glam... before Jerry was in the band. I'd totally forgotten about that.

Mike McCready talks about Lake Hills Roller Rink and the 'Battle of the Bands' I would go every weekend. Mike Starr commented on SATO, who I remember...

My little bother was the drummer for a metal cover band named Prophecy who did a gig at the Monastery with Realms... It's a great book I recommend you all read! It's very detailed and accurate.

So many of my memories were tainted with alcohol... I remember a show at the Re Bar, the only part I can recal is dropping my glass of whiskey 'cause I was to hammered to hold onto it... Wish I could remember who was playing that night

Oh yeah so did you archive this one? I can't seem to find it, as the last thing seems to be the Alcohol Funnycar interview.
